½ cup sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp light cream or milk
3 tbsp tarragon or wine vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
1½ tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 tsp. crushed dry tarragon
4 cloves garlic, minced
Store in refrigerator. Good over hot or cold pasta, green salad, rice or vegetables.
This is a very versatile sauce as it can be used on a green salad, or for pasta salad, and even stirred into hot pasta.
