Making a traditional pizza can take some time. Dough or store-bought base, load it up, bake it.
We frequently make Quick Pizza for lunch. It takes only a few minutes. Here's how:
For the base, we use Naan bread or Lavash (available in many stores).
We warm the toaster oven to 400 degrees F.
We coat the base with tomato sauce, then perhaps a layer of Pesto. Lay on mushrooms, sliced atichoke hearts, ham, salami - anything that catches your fancy. Top with shredded Mozzarella chese.
Bake in the toaster oven for 10 minutes. Raise the heat to broil for another minute or two if you want it browned.
Eat and enjoy.
